B-SIDE redefines industrial design with refined artistry, a perfect blend of contemporary design and sustainable materials. These objects, characterized by simple geometry and pure, linear forms, pay homage to the Scandinavian sideboards of the 1960s. A tribute to classic furniture from bygone eras, B-SIDE reinterprets its traditional storage function in a new form.
Inspired by the world of naval shipping, with a nod to the classic aesthetic of shipping containers, the B-SIDE cabinet combines elegant lines and bold design to create a stunning focal point within living spaces.
Attracted by the infinite monochromatic nuances, designer Max Dalle Sasse imagined a sideboard with classic yet essential shapes, ultra-modern for its composite image and the eco-sustainable nature of the material it is made of.
The entire structure of the recycled MDF cabinet is enhanced by the lacquered finish, applied using a four-coat industrial paint cycle with a matt enamel finish, and the front cladding of the doors, which repeats the pattern of the corrugated sheet metal, to create a polychrome effect evoked by an interplay of light and shadows emerging from the three-dimensionality of the renewed surface.
The slatted front panels create a dynamic visual contrast and enhance its practicality. The sideboard features a horizontal layout, with versatile internal storage compartments, offering customization options to meet different needs.
The push-pull door opening system ensures seamless use, while the eco-friendly finishes highlight its sustainable craftsmanship. Available in 12 elegant shades, this sideboard is perfect for modern spaces, combining practicality and aesthetic depth for a collectible design piece.
