Pinocchio Sculpture: The Biggest Lie | Limited Edition

Matteo Ragni for Billiani 1911:The wooden sculpture "The Biggest Lie" portrays a decidedly deceitful Pinocchio, with features vaguely reminiscent of the shape of a bullet that – it must be said – "tells a big lie": "War is just," the biggest lie that can be told, always and in any case.

So, as in the best fairy tales, sooner or later there will be a happy ending to bring smiles back to the children of today, the men of peace of tomorrow.

The first Pinocchio “The Biggest Lie” was presented at the ADI Design Museum in Milan between November 2023 and February 2024 during the exhibition “Dearest Pinocchio, Italian designers and graphic designers redesign the most famous puppet in the world” curated by Giulio Iacchetti.
